Received $10 off coupon per mail

Just received a  QVC $10 off  coupon for $30 qualifying purchase  via the mail which  is effective from 7/25-8/31.

Only that I find it irksome that it arrived by mail  after I had already ordered an item  but  am not able to cancel to repurchase using the coupon.  How irksome , it's just like  not knowing when they will offer  " flash free shipping " .

Seems to me they could have sent via email  to reach customers  more expediently.

I know what you mean.  It's nice to get some kind of discount, but, I ordered a blouse this past Friday evening only to wake up Saturday morning to see free shipping.

@skatting44  - You've got the entire month of Aug to use it.  Maybe you'll want something in Aug.

I don't mind getting a coupon by mail.  I'll take it anyway they want to send it.

@skatting44   I've received a couple of these kinds, but what irks me is the long list of non-eligible items.  I sent a message via Feedback saying that. The PTB  should lis WHICH items we can apply the coupon to, rather than what we cannot.

@zitawins In almost all cases, including other retailers, a coupon is good for Regular Priced Items, rarely for clearance or sale prices. Sometimes I will TRY a coupon on a sale priced item but it rarely works.

I do find HSN's occasional 20% off will work on sale items. Give it a try, but assume it will only work on regular priced items.

Like @San Antonio Gal , I appreciate any and all coupons regardless how I receive them.

And, do people really expect a retailer to announce ahead of time they will be sending a coupon or there will be free shipping? It would be like saying, "Don't shop with us now, you can save later". I just don't see the rational of that.

Re: Received $10 off coupon per mail

I remember once upon a time if you bought something 24 hours free shipping they would deduct the shipping. Guess those days are long gone.
