Recall cooktops that turn on by themselves

Whirlpool is recalling cooktops that turn on by themselves. They ask consumers to turn the breaker off to the unit.

Whirlpool, KitchenAid and JennAir brand glass cooktops with touch controls
Hazard:

The recalled cooktop surface elements can turn on by themselves, posing burn and fire hazards.

well, this is just scary. i feel bad for people that bought this. i am just speechless.
