I gave Wen a try for one year. I tried many different formulations, oil, rtm, 613. I came to my own conclusion that Wen did not do anything for my hair. I can see where using conditioner on problem hair might help. I love the scent of the Vanilla Winter Mint and use the oil on my arms and hands at night . It smells so good. I think we all are smart enough to buy what we like. No need to fight over it.

While a lot of the demos are obviously not reality, wouldn't putting 3 X as much conditioner on one side prove that even with 3x as much her hair is still tangled??

I briefly saw a demo when he was showing the woman with the dyed BLACK hair, he said she had not colored in a year ( or something like that) but her scalp was colored so, of course she had just colored recently. Ridiculous!

.....or was he saying that WEN clogged up her hair pores and prevented healthy growth? Because if she had no regrowth in a year......that doesn't say anything good about his product.

What he said was that he did a root touch up and didn't bring the dye down throughout the length of her hair. He found her color stayed true and didn't need to re-color the previously dyed hair...

Ford, Chaz's products are some of the best in the industry. I use his cleanser as a final step ..more like a conditioning rinse. His 613 mousse is like no other I have tried. My hair is shiny and has wonderful volume. My color no longer changes throughout the month and now I only need to touch up the roots. Blonde hair often doesn't shine but because of Chaz's products I have volume and shine.

I tried the product only once and it felt like a lump of clay on my head. Admittedly, I probably applied it wrong. I wasn't interested enough to fool around with it, so I never used it again.

However, serenity, it wasn't the product I was commenting on, it was the awful demonstration.

While WEN didn't do a thing for my fine, thin, poker straight hair, I personally know several people who use WEN and had great improvement to their hair. I wish it had done for my hair what it did for theirs.

However, as others have said, shampoo isn't the only thing causing color loss. The water in your home may be stripping your color and sitting out in the sun will greatly affect your color as well. WEN isn't going to help with any of that.

Oh, I shouldn't have gone off on a tangent and read your opening post more carefully.{#emotions_dlg.blushing}

I think the demos are probably very difficult to do because of the time constraints. However, I understand what you are saying.Smile

I don't use Wen (due to cost) but I heard people who do seem to love the product. This is where I don't fall for the demo. On those beauty products that are supposed to make you look younger and take all your lines and wrinkles away. lol. Yeah OK. The only things that make you look younger are botox or a face lift. Both of which I will never get. And I have to laugh how you need to buy all these products from the same vendor. If theyre so good why not put ALL the ingredients in ONE product so you don't need 100 products. lol.

All demos for all beauty products are exaggerated{#emotions_dlg.laugh} When I buy L'Oreal hair care products, somehow I just don't expect that my hair will look like their models' hair {#emotions_dlg.lol}
