All the demos on QVC for any Beauty product are nothing but a huge fake.

i believe these many beauty demonstrations are to be preceded by the viewer drinking the cup of koolaide first. (-:

I don't pay attention to the presentations.

I have been using Wen for over a year now. My hair has never been looked or felt better.

My color does last longer.

Going on 4 years and can say the same...happily brii!

I briefly saw a demo when he was showing the woman with the dyed BLACK hair, he said she had not colored in a year ( or something like that) but her scalp was colored so, of course she had just colored recently. Ridiculous!

I used to use Wen. I have auburn highlights in my hair. After I cleansed with Wen, the red came off on my towel. I did not experience that it saved my color any better than any other cleanser.

I use Pureology now and have good luck with that.

But it's great if it works for others. My sister loves Wen.

The demo that I roll my eyes at, is the one where they "prove" that WEN doesn't "strip hair of color".

I've had gone to a salon, had my hair professionally colored, then the next time that showered, before I even put any shampoo on my head, I already have excess color coming off from just the water alone.

So when Chaz says, "We just colored her hair this morning, and look! WEN doesn't strip color!", I just have to laugh.

Yep, I have read that it's water that actually strips hair of color, and not the shampoo itself. The article I read (can't remember the source) was writing about sulfate-free shampoos, and how they supposedly aren't any better than "regular" shampoos (regarding color treated hair).

I've never tried WEN, so I can't give an opinion, but I like Chazz, though (I know that's not what this thread is about, but just wanted to mention that!).

(edited: oops, I meant "Chaz.")

Oh, that must have been laugh out loud funny. And so obvious a 7 year old would have seen the silliness of it. But I don't blame the man for trying to attract new business.

.....or was he saying that WEN clogged up her hair pores and prevented healthy growth? Because if she had no regrowth in a year......that doesn't say anything good about his product.

Me three - it's made a huge difference in how long my color lasts, my hair is softer, and my hairdresser (who knows I'm using it) says my hair is in better condition. I also get lots of compliments when I hug people! Smile
