I have the same problem.  It has nothing to do with the sound.  The little square at the bottom left of the picture of either the TSV or any product is all of a sudden checked on all my screens.  I have been trying to click on them to render them blank instead of the checkmark and it won't go away.  I used to be able to get rid of that check but I can't do that now.  It doesn't matter if you turn off your sound or theirs.
