I buy almost all of my clothes from QVC. What I really can't understand and miss… Is when a host only has one color of a piece of clothing, or one color of a shoe… And
to show the rest of the colors, they have to pull up a picture of what the other colors look like. I really miss the days when they had all of the samples with them in the studio to present on air. Why can't they have all the samples with them anymore?

One time I heard a host say that the reason they didn't have all the samples on set was b/c there wasn't enough room in the back for every item they had to bring to air. That was on the Q2 set which is different from the main set.

@Boz The situation you describe exists only on Q2 which seems to be a low budget operation. I'm sure the logistics of getting an example of each color would be more than the profit margin. I rarely watch that channel so am not bothered by it. Many items are sold out by the time they're shown there.

Limited space, limited production values as others have stated. Pictures with different angles on websites have become the purchasing norm. Full videos and live presentations aren't always needed to make a sale any longer. I know I'm perfectly satisfied with size charts and color stills of models wearing the style on reputable websites such as Lands End and Talbots. Maybe they could be added to your shopping clothes viewing too.

Remember when most shows were done Virtually? Trying to figure out how anyone that had followed any National News the last couple years, would not know the answer to your question.
There are many businesses that cannot get people to work for them. Add to that the transportation issues from other countries, that make a majority of everything!
@Boz Ya got your answer.

I buy 90% of my clothes from QVC and HSN and I can't recall ever seeing that scenario. I've never seen a host or vendor show one single color when multiple colors are available.
They have the colors on those racks. I have noticed that we don't see as many models as we once did. It seems like it's often just one model in one of the colors.

@chrystaltree That is commonplace on Q2. They have one actual sample and show pictures of the other colors.
