Real I.D. Revisited

Had to go to the DMV today and Real I.D.'s are not being issued and haven't been since 2009 when it was started in my state only to end after 1 month. New residents do have to show a birth certificate or passport but no one is being required to update their old driver's license who moved out here before 2009. Also, new residents are not issued Real I.D. Cards...it's the same old drivers license we've had for years.

The DMV was deluged with complaints plus the State decided it no longer wanted to fund it. I imagine it's pretty much the same all across the country.
