The Farmer's Almanac predictions for the upcoming winter.

There's that 4 letter word that starts with "s." I grew up in the South, and I'm NOT a fan.

I'm on the round bottom area of WV, right where the cold snowy meets cold dry.   I don't like the sound of either, but will be prepared for both!

I grew up in Northeast...I'm betting I'm even less of a fan than you! I start being traumatized at this time of year anticipating a 6 month dredge leading up to and then through a long winter. Hoping we manage to get away a bit this Jan or Feb...been trying to find an Air B&B, even though it's already late...there's got to be somewhere!

I love Farmer's Almanac's predictions.

Looks like Joisey will have just a cold winter meaning NO snow or very little & dry.  That's "mild" for Joisey if you live in So. Joisey.

EDIT:  Looked at that map again, this time w/my /0~0\ on.

I love snow, bring it on.  However I'm in mild and dry.   Doesn't look good for snow.

Yep, My area is clipped by the edge of that snow.  I live on a big hill and a lot of shade in the area to keep icy spots on the roads.

Hmmmm....St. Louis is on the line between cold/dry and cold/snowy. I'm hoping for dry! Farmer's Almanac is usually pretty accurate!

@Kachina624 ~ Hmm, mild and wet?  I've been here since 2015, and winters have been cold, and pretty snowy.  We shall see!
