Re: Reading sunglasses

[ Edited ]

I find Prive Revaux to be the best regular readers so I'd try them.  I have a pair of sunglass readers that I bought in Florida years ago before they became popular and available everyewhere.  If I need a new pair I'll definitely order the Prive Revaux.

If not available on QVC just go to the PR website.

I have fit-over sunglasses for use with Rx glasses when driving.  These would work for Rx reading glasses too.

@goldensrbest  Regardless of brand, be sure to get full lens versions and not sunglasses with a little bifocal square because in my experience, they're a bit of a challenge to use effectively.

I really like the fit overs. I think once someone wears them they will like them, but they may not be glamorous enough for some.

@goldensrbest - I am also 2.5. I like Peepers "sunnies." I try to wait until I see them on sale! They hold up well.

I use them at the beach, and at home if I'm reading or working in the sunroom.  Smiley Happy

@goldensrbest I got a pair of Ryan Simkhai tinted readers after trying on my friend's readers. It's ryansimkhaieyeshop. They are:

  • UV 100 Protection
  • Highest Quality Scratch-Resistant Aspheric Lenses: thinner and light weight
  • Premium Polycarbonate: technology that provides a sturdier frame

You might want to do a little shopping at readers.com. They have a great selection of reader/sunglasses and I have the collection to prove it. Happy shopping!
