The skill it takes to make this is amazing. I think it would make a great conversation piece if you served it for dessert.

A waste of calorie allotment for the day.  I'd rather have some Tiramisu or Crème Brûlée.  I wouldn't try it even if it was Tiramisu flavored.  As for the shock element involving food, it would then require a trip to the vomirorium.  But it would not surprise me in this day and age.  Take for instance, the Bean Boozled flavores of Jelly Bellies.

I'm sure this cake is perfectly fine - as most cakes are - but it does not appeal to me or seem very appetizing.  I'd rather have a slice of pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.

Duff Goldman came to our school to present a cake for our founding anniversary.  Beautiful cake. (He was an alumna)...don't know when he graduated.  Absolutely delicious!  He makes some very realistic looking cakes.
