It took me a few minutes to try and figure that word out .  Raquel was beautiful all her life.

@DSD2 yes, I agree - also loved her in legally blonde.

And as all have said, she was beautiful her whole life. She seemed to defy aging.  I always thought that if /when? I were to have plastic surgery or an anti aging doctor, I would want hers.  Of course I just assume she has some help looking so beautiful all her life.  I did do a search online a few times and never found any hints as to who she might have seen, if she did. And certainly she came into this world more beautiful than most.

Beatuiful woman, smart, and had a memorable and long career.

I was shocked, did not realize she was 82, she was so beautiful. My girlfriend and I were screaming extras in the roller derby scenes of Portland-filmed Kansas City Bomber...she even looked great roller skating!

Another friend's sister was a maid at the Hilton Hotel where she stayed...saw her a few times, said she was very nice to the staff.

I am glad she gained the respect of her audience and peers over the years...she was smart and talented, had a great sense of humor.

I'm sorry to hear of her passing.  She was truly an icon of my youth.  My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and loved ones.
