Believe this happened to me in Q3 & Q4. At the end of December, I went back through all of my Shopping Trips (found in the drop-down menu when you hover over your name). Over 90% didn't even have "pending" cash back, which I knew was incorrect.

Submitted individual Help requests ("Where's my cash back?") for each shopping trip that hadn't been confirmed -- actually going all the way back to September. To submit a Help request, you need:

  • Your email confirm with the subtotal sum (you will need to paste it into the Help request)
  • Your order number

Takes time & persistence, but it is your money. You apparently just need to nudge them for it all.

Paid off for me -- with a significant sum now confirmed. There were too many days with large cash back days or bonuses in the fall to let it slide. (ymmv)

Good luck!

@Zoe  - I've done that before and was hoping I would not have to do it again.  I made a lot of purchases during Nov and Dec and there is no "pending" cash back - on any retailers - not just QVC.

It will be a PIA to do have to do it, but there was a lot of high rebates during the Black Friday period.

So my Rakuten Cash Back for Omaha Steaks that was a purchase last month is now "available".

The Black Friday purchase at Bloomies still shows "pending".

Think I'm going for the egift card instead of waiting for a check.

I had issues with Rakuten awhile back. In the past, I would just shop through the app and I would eventually get a check. I never had to do anything. Then I stopped getting the notices that I had money coming. A bunch of my purchases were not showing up. I went on their website and had to manually add the order numbers from QVC. I eventually got paid for those and it has been fine ever since. No idea what happened to cause the disruption.

Same thing has happened to me @Puppy Lips .  I've got a dozen purhases that I'm going to have to manually add all the information from the Q other retailers.

At least there is a record of all the shopping trips.

After this issue, I haven't been using Rakuten anymore.  Been using Be Frugal.

I always check my account on Rakuten monthly and if I don't see cash back listed or ineligible I go to missing cash back and put the info in for the order and I always get the cash back applied

Every month there is always some missing which I don't get but they always correct it

as far as I know they give cash back on everything the Q sells and I have belonged to Rakuten for years

Re: Rakuten users - help

[ Edited ]

FWIW I closed my Rakuten account last year because I wasn't getting credited for purchases on a regular basis. Now I use mainly BeFrugal or TopCashback, and occasionally RetailMeNot or MrRebates.

I still have some transactions not track but it's much better than the Rakuten issues.  I only use browsers and not the apps.
