Rain Rain Go Away - 36 hours and counting...

My yard is like a swimming pool here in Indiana - 36 hours of rain and woke up - raining again!  I'm gonna need a boat folks!  What's it like in your neck of the woods?

@KingstonsMom - wish I could put a pipeline in and get it to you.  We've had our share lately and ore coming Sunday.  We need some time to DRY OUT.    Course, later this summer, I'll probably be begging for rain.

I'm sorry you're getting way too much! We could use some good rains here - we are in a drought in Central FL and have been having a lot of wildfires.

Same here in central NY.  Still cold and windy along with all the rain.   Forecast says same for the next week.  My beautiful mowed 3 acre yard is gone.   By the time it dries out I will have to bale it.

All I have to do is think of those who are dealing with the floods and I do not complain.  Their world is being turned upside down.  My world is only inconvenienced.  I have had 2 hurricanes here in my 72 years.  Any flooding here is always minimal but the individual's damage incurred is still upsetting.  I am blessed to live here.

We have had rain every day here since the 26th of April - just heard, rain continues till 8:00 p.m., then starts again tomorrow morning - yikes!  Hope all of you who need rain get some of this.

I'm in CNY too, hi @Gram W!  We are beyond tired of the cold, rainy yuck!  We were able to squeeze some lawn mowing in between showers on Tuesday, but it's back to dreary.  Everything is greening up nicely, so at least we have that Cat Happy

Ugh! Central Jersey here, expecting 1-2 inches of rain today and then cloudy and showers for weekend. Certainly has been a wet spring this year but at least the reservoirs benefited and are at capacity.

We've had a lot of rain too.

It's been extremely windy and very chilly the last few days.  We've had a day or two of nice, warm weather - just enough to tease us.

Re: Rain Rain Go Away - 36 hours and counting...

After last weekends torrential rains, it's been cloudy-to-partly cloudy in Chicago the past couple of days.  I believe some of our southern areas close to Indiana got rain with the clouds.

Considering we had far below normal snow in this area over the winter Lake Michigan, the rivers, farmers, and the natural landscapes are appreciating the water.
