@proudlyfromNJ You're right. He doesn't have to depend on her. He's an entertainment and licensing attorney who didn't lack for clients when he worked exclusively in the film industry. When he married RR, he said she became his only client.
That's not being on her payroll, that's what I call a collaborative effort lol. Among other things, he brokers her appearance, licensing, and book deals. RR, herself, has said that the smartest thing she ever did was marry an entertainment attorney.
