IMO, he was a pig. I suppose his family cares that he died. I don't.

My opinion, the only thing he wanted to free women from was their clothes.

just sharing this from facebook.......
Growing up, some kids weren’t allowed to play with me because my mom was in a “dirty magazine.” But I didn’t care. Because I can say with certainty that I never felt shame or embarrassment for my mother, or her time as a @Playboy Playmate. I felt pride, early and often, for the woman in front of me everyday, and the woman she used to be... the woman sprawled out on a piano as Miss November 1980. This was her centerfold image... an image I always associated with art, and beauty, and confidence, and feminism, and grace, and womanhood. I know that looks different to other people. But to me, that’s what I saw when I laid my eyes on this image.
Being a part of the “Playboy family” always felt natural... for my mom, and then later, for me. When I met Hef for the first time, in 5th grade, I remember having an expectation. I remember thinking I would feel the way I felt when other older men met me around that age ... an age when I was getting my period for the first time, getting boobs, and becoming a woman. And I can tell you, that’s NOT the way he made me feel.
Hef greeted me like an old friend. He was surprisingly soft-spoken, and kind. And had tenderness in his eyes. Like because he knew and respected my mother for 20 years... he had an innate fondness for me. From 5th grade on, I visited Hef and the Mansion from time to time with my mom ... and I always had the same feelings.
Even as a freshman at Berkeley (while taking Women’s Studies), I knew when I walked into the Mansion, I would be treated with kindness, respect, and like a member of the family. Thank you, Hef. For making my mother’s big dreams come true. And for being a small part of my journey to self-discovery. Thank you for creating art that celebrates beauty. And thank you for putting my mom on Playboy TV (where my dad would eventually see her and declare “Now THAT’S a woman I could marry!”)
I guess my brothers and I kinda owe you our lives... #RIPHef #PlayboyForever #Legacy #WeWillNeverForgetYou. Kara Bosworth

I had to look it up...yes! And she’s still holding her beauty.
Playmates are definitely an honored Sorority...like being a
Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader....a resume bullet point.
