Will never forget him. I saw him during my first visit to Walt Disney World. The Park had been open about a month. We were in Magic Kingdom and the Park was crowded. In fact they were not allowing anymore people into Magic Kingdom because it was so crowded. We were on the Skyway ride, going from Frontierland to Fantasyland. And I am not sure who in my family noticed George Kennedy in the crowd of people. He towered over the people around him. He was an imposing figure. Tall and big. He really stood out from the crowd. I guess that is why we were able to pick him out of the crowd from up in the Skyway.

Honestly?
If this was a week ago & I had to guess,
I would've thought he was already passed.
Did he make any appearances later in life?

The Hollywood Reporter has a great piece on him.
He was in several movies in recent years (as recent as 2014).
This was a fascinating fact (George was 6'4"):
Kennedy moved to Hollywood in 1959 and played an array of toughs who could go up against such stars of TV Westerns as 6-foot-7 James Arness in Gunsmoke, 6-foot-6 Clint Walker in Cheyenne and 6-foot-6 Chuck Connors in The Rifleman.

He was always wonderful in anything he appeared in. I still remember his role in Charade....the first time I ever watched him. Then I saw him in "Airport," and I was a fan for life.
May he RIP and condolences to his family.
