So sad. She told her son, while they were planning Carrie's funeral, that she wanted to be with her daughter and shortly afterwards, they say she had a stroke. I believe people can die of a broken heart. I cannot imagine how the family is dealing with this double loss. So devastating.

Rest in peace, Debbie & Carrie. Prayers for Todd Fisher and Carrie's daughter.

I always adored Debbie Reynolds. She was so beautiful and I loved her very spirited nature and the way she seemed to look at things with great humor. Another true, great original gone. I am so saddened by her passing. My mother and I always enjoyed watching all of her movies together. She did not have an easy life but she persevered and always seemed to try her best to come up with a solution to solve her problems no matter what. I guess this final blow was just too much for her.

I just woke up,to see debbie died, so very sad ,i feel she died of a broken heart.

Just yesterday I had read that Debbie Reynolds was in frail health. I told my husband that Carrie Fisher's death would kill her. Little did I know it would happen so quickly. It's all so very sad. Debbie Reynolds was a great talent. She was only 19 in "Singin' in the Rain." She was adorable and did a fantastic job in one of my favorite films of all time. Many baby girls were named Debbie in the 1950s. She was THAT popular. May she rest In peace with her beloved daughter.

Wh at happen to her marriage with Eddy. Fisher was like the Brad and ANGELINA today. I remember how shocked we were when the affair and the divorce and marriage to ELIZABETH TAYLOR. ET was playing with him. He was not a strong man like the others she married. EF went on to marry Connie Stevens.

Debbie Reynolds and EF were the sweethearts of Hollywood. Like Brad and Jennifer Aniston.

I don,t remember her son Todd Fisher. I remember Elizabeth Taylor went on to marry someone named Todd, so the name threw me.

May Carrie Fisher and And Debbie Reynolds get some peace . They were fighters of life. May the rest of the family come to heal . May Gary find a good home.
