Wonder what was the problem with his heart?

Wow, sad.  I have always liked him.  He was young.

I liked him too. Really saddened by this news.

That is so sad.

I've loved everything I've ever seen him in - especially Big Love, Twister, Titanic...

On the Talk today, they mentioned he was on the show in early February and had spoken about Alan Thicke.  He told them he was going to have upcoming surgery to (try) fix what they call the Widow Maker.  He was not sure they could.

I literally just watched that interview too. I never watch that show, but I got out of the shower, turned on the tv and it was on that channel and show right when the interview came on where she relayed the discussion he had with her. I thought they said it's an aortic aneurysm.

He had rheumatic fever at age 13. Was bedridden for six months. This causes heart valve problems many years down the road.

So so sad that a disease that long ago caused deadly problems decades later.
