I'm not shocked they are divorcing. They seemed so opposite to me a times, but I think she was aware of what he was doing on some level.

i don't think she "must" at all! there is no way i would take my young son's to see their father behind bars! that is not a memory i would want them to have for the rest of their lives. he should have thought about what it would mean to not see them for several years.
