I use Aveda's Madder Root shampoo & conditioner in conjuction with Shampure. It enhances red and auburn hair. It deposits color. My hair is soft, shiny, and has body. Their Color Conserve line is excellent as well. My color is professionally done. She uses Scruples color.

I have light red/auburn hair. I like the non permanent color without ammonia. L'Oreal used to make the perfect color for me. The woman on the box looked like Jane Seymor. For some reason they discontinued it. Now all the reds/auburns are wayyyyy to dark and harsh. I have tried calling L-oreal. Don't know what else to do.

I too am a natural redhead, but have had to pay for many years to keep it that way! I have had disastrous results with home coloring. Can you say Ronal MacDonald? I need to color every 4-5 weeks! I just went waaaayyy lighter to camouflage the roots. Every hair stylist I have ever talked to says red gone grey is the hardest to take color and fades the fastest. Good luck!

I do, so I did. LOL

If it's the "L'Oreal Healthy Look Creme Gloss Color" - which fits the criteria - check the following sites online for your shade:

*Ebay

*Amazon

*Drugstore.com

*Walgreens

*Target

*Soap.com

*Walmart

HTH & much luck!
