I've noticed a lot of people missing, long-time posters.

But every day I see new nics here.

Could it be because of the heavy hand webbie rules with that so many have been banned only to come back with a new nic?

I think it was scottie who asked me about what happened with me in the "Forums not Bustling with Activity" thread. I posted about my experience with the Q Social Team in another forum. I said in that thread my nic ------ was blocked the for violating Standards (supposedly in my post to another poster). Later in that thread I think I was replying to another poster and said Mom2ToDogs was the name I used to review Q products. Because the Community and the retail side of QVC are separate entities that it was legit and a way to further ensure confidentially (some people are weird and will track your purchases to your Community nic). I was using only one name to post in the Community so there was no problem. Or so I thought. For saying that my Mom2TwoDogs name was blocked for violating Standards. I had to explain to the QST the reason for the two nics and I was reinstated.

I want to be totally transparent. And I want to share my experience so posters will perhaps be able to navigate through the fog a bit easier.

Not to beat a dead horse. I am really interested in this stuff. How it all works so to speak. DIdn't you also say that QSocial wanted you to agree to abide by standards before you would be let back in and you said, (if I remember correctly) that you refused to do it because it would go against your integrity (or words to that effect)? I am curious how you got around not agreeing. If you don't want to talk about it anymore I understand.

Correct scottie. That is what happened.

I cannot use the ------ nic or any version of that nic. It has been banned permanently.

oh brother. Maybe they should have reviewed your years of posting history before making that decision.

Uh oh. Well, if you don't mind my saying, I hope you don't regret letting everyone know who you were. Since you have been so open about it all I felt free to ask but now....

Re: RE: thread about forums not bustling with activity

Let me add that you have the ability when you're blocked to communicate with the QST. You can plead your side, so to speak. Their goal is to have a smooth running Community which is what posters wanted.

ETA if you don't see me you know what happened {#emotions_dlg.unsure}
