Fridges...ACK ! We got ours at HH Gregg, January of last year. $450 or so, + tax. Got it in Black. LOVE it ! Our old one was on its last legs for 6 months or so. The freezer didn't keep things frozen, and the fridge froze everything. The poor delivery guys had to come out in the middle of a snow storm and they removed the old one. They brought it in through the front door since the back porch was all ICE. It barely fit through the door...but it works great ! Energy efficient, ample size for the 3 of us. Woo Hoo!

I'm happy you're doing well. I'm sure I will see you often here. Take care, my friend ! Smiley Happy

What brand did you get? My Kenmore lasted 15 years , but its on life support. Im looking at Frigidare. Its energy effcient.  My Kenmore is making popping sounds and has stopped making ice.  The last few months its been leaking water into the fridge. I placed a bowl in the fridge to catch the water, bu its on life support.

What brand did you purchasee? Cant imagine delivering in icy weather. Wow

We bought a Haier(sp) and I think  it's 13 cu. feet. We had a small space (32" or so) between the stove/oven unit and the wall, so we had to take that width into consideration along with the cabinet over the fridge space. Plus there has to be "room to breathe". This house was built in 1975-ish, and there's no dishwasher (DH is the dishwasher -LOL). A freestanding fridge would be nice...but there's absolutely no place for that in my open combo of a Kitchen/Dining Room.

We had sun today. From September to November, weve had 40 days of rain.  We discussed blueprints for an ark. Thought of you Raven, you could design the kitchen!  Lol
