I'm sorry to re-post but I'm sitting here where everything on my body hurts (arthritis) I forgot to add, rain (especially cold(er) rain) is hard on the body.......wait....an update....no...not everything hurts....I have one toe that doesn't know it's raining yet.

Seriously, when it rains and the weather turns cold(er) and you are old(er) you hurt.

The rain started here this afternoon...it hasn't let up ! And it's a Cold Rain.  We are "good" with our rain (no drought here), but our Miss Kitty (our feral cat) didn't come up on the Back Porch for her dinner...That makes me worry about her.

I should go out and see if the rain has subsided enough that she'll eat her dinner.

I wish I could...but she's The Boss and what she decides (in her mind) is what we have to deal with. I hope she comes back tomorrow...I'm sure she will be Hungry and she will be a Happy Cat when she is fed.

when it is raining  my possums don't come for their dinner!  However, it was cold enough I just cover and reserve, lol!  Possums eat old food.  Rotten is good for them.  Although they are a little spoiled with the grapes I cut up for them, and bananas.  They love brown minced bananas

When it rains, they might stay in.  I have a covered porch too.

mine is brown..........what water we did use out there we did for the shrubs.......had to let the lawn go......................................raven
