@Moonchilde....Sorry. I didn't mean to hijack your thread and go off topic. I don't want to get scolded like I did yesterday on another thread that we were posting on Friday. LOL.

@Moonchilde:

Same here (re: hijacking this thread).

Just had a lot of tips in one smallish period of time, LOL, and thought I might be of help.

Ladies,

My opinion on "hijacking" is that threads ebb and flow naturally with a lot of different ideas/topics in the mix. I never mind that.

It's *quite* different from posters deliberately trying to engineer a topic change within a thread for their own, rarely good, purposes. I think most of ys recognize those and yours weren't it. 😀

@Moonchilde...Thank you. We are only talking about bedding afterall. LOL. I thought many of us were having an interesting discussion Friday on another thread, but the OP got upset because I and others discussed what were off topic in her opinion and not to her liking. I felt like a little kid who had her hand slapped with a ruler for speaking out of turn. LOL. You have to be so careful what you say and how you say it on these boards.

Have a good evening.

(thread title)

Neither. For me it's a reclining lounge chair and a throw. Whoops! Forgot, at least 2 cats.

@catwhisperer, there are always posters who feel that if they start a thread it "belongs" to them alone and they have the "right" to control every syllable posted in it. One can only laugh at the silly self-entitlement.

@Moonchilde So sorry that I missed this thread when you started it but I prefer a comforter, when I was growing up we had bedspreads and they were a pain to keep straight. I love comforter sets or bed in a bags. Everything matches lol.

@Moonchilde...you are so right. But, that's okay. My list of posters to avoid just got a little longer.

@JaneMarple, I have long preferred the feel of comforters, and the ease of making the bed with them, but I just couldn't resist this particular quilt, it's so pretty and cheerful.  I posted a pic around about page 1-2.

Thank you ladies, for all your comments & suggestions. I went ahead and bit the bullet - and when I ordered it, found that it doesn't ship until 9/13(!)  They must have had to do a re-order. For those who think QVC's s&h is bad, the s&h on the two pieces is $18!! But there was a $10 discount and no tax in my state, so...sigh. I could have saved a whole $5 if I'd ordered it from an affiliate catalog but I didn't bother.
