Quick update (no bad vibes, pls.)

[ Edited ]

Hopefully this post will answer most questions, etc.

1)

Took a long time to find a new home I could even just apply for, due to the minimum income requirement (2-3 x's the rent amount is common); only current one is from SSDI.

2)

Affordable apt. secured w/ a bit of help; moving the beginning of next month.

But always "expect the unexpected" w/ everything. ;-)

3)

Moving in w/ zero furniture & home items, so I'm aiming to get something cheap to sleep on for the time being (apt has no carpeting, which I like).

Plus one A/C window unit (to start with, due to chronic health challenges).

4)

Yep, the place is pet-friendly. 8)

Been solo for the last 3 years, but won't adopt my next kitty 'til my budget can handle the responsibility.

(hope to someday supplement my income, beneficial in many ways)

5)

Working on affordably moving (no car, currently), but fortunate that most of what I have w/ me is stuff to wear + stuff to take of myself with.

6)

New health challenges still up-in-the-air; hopefully won't be too worrisome.

Extra grateful & blessed to still be here.

X's & O's to those who have never stopped their support & caring. Heart

Also appreciate the change-of-mind of some others.

Special thanks to the Q mods who understood.

Keep hanging on friend.  So happy you will have a roof over your head and hope in your heart.  That can get us through so much. Heart

Re: Quick update (no bad vibes, pls.)

No one with any sense of compassion would ever give you a bad vibe..

Sometimes we need someone to simply be there.  Not to fix anything, or to do anything in particular, but just to let us feel that we are cared for and supported.

So glad things are looking up for you!  I remember reading about this before and sent a few prayers your way. Where have you been living?  I was so worried you had become homeless.
