Questions about downloading I-tunes

I have an Android phone. Is it possible to download Itunes to it, or does it have to be an Apple phone? I am trying to get my Dish Network on my phone, but from what I can tell, it needs Itunes to be downloaded first, and my phone says "download unsuccessful". Is it because it is not an Iphone brand or possibly something else?

Any help? I am NOT good at this sort of thing. I always get one of my brothers to do this sort of thing for me, but I would love to figure out something without asking them for onceSmiley Happy
