Why are some controversial threads allowed to go on for days and some are deleted immediately? Seems inconsistent to me. Either controversial threads are allowed or they aren't.

You started a thread that combined both GUNS and RELIGION - 2 no-no's in one!
Why not post at "The Blaze"...you will find lots of like minded people there.

Of course. It SHOULD HAVE BEEN deleted. But other controversial threads are allowed to go on and on and on. That's not consistent moderating.

It's always been inconsistent. It won't change.
I do think that certain people are targeted more than others by webbies. Certain people can post a topic and certain people can't.
I don't have the answer.

Yes, that's it. It depends on the person starting the thread, not the content of the thread. That's a bias that the mods have and it's not proper to moderate a forum that way.

The more complaints they get about a poster, the more they're watched. It's not too hard to figure that out.

Hi Everyone,
This topic has been blocked from new replies because posters were making accusations against each other. These posts have been removed because it is not productive dialogue and is off topic to the original question about moderation.
In response to the question about moderation, as stated in our Standards for Participation, QVC does not and cannot review all posts. For this reason, some discussions or individual posts may remain for a period of time until it is Reported Inappropriate or until it comes to the attention of a moderator. QVC may, at any time, remove content in violation of these guidelines.
We continue to strive for consistent moderation, but we will always let you know why a post was removed even if the conversation was taking place over a period of time.
