Question on return shipping.

I didn't know where to post this question so decided to choose this one. I just bought 2 pillows from HSN. Recieved them Thursday & just can not sleep on them. I bought them as a set of 2. Figured if they didn't work out could send them back together for one return fee. No problem. Also bought an extra set of pillow cases that was on sale because you can't use reg. ones with these pillows. Well when they arrived, each came seperately in it's on box with it's on shipping label!  Now if I send them back it will cost me $27.85 plus losing my original shipping!!  My question is if I get a box & put all of this in it together, does anyone know or have done this to know if I will be credited for all products sent back or will they still charge me $27.85 because I didn't use the provided label??  I have not sent anything back in years & return policys are always changing. I read the policy but have also read on here of people being charged extra if they use their own shipping & I have never sent several things in one box before. Just was hoping for some advice. Thanks

Re: Question on return shipping.

Why not post your question on HSN website?  This is QVC.

(for me, I've never purchased anything from the "H")

I guess I wouldn't trust anyone's opinion as to how HSN will handle this.

Re: Question on return shipping.

Maybe I didn't word my question correctly. I was just wondering if anyone here had any experiences with shipping multiple things back in same box & not getting credit for them. And I know that a lot of people here also shop HSN so that is one of the reasons I posted here. Was just hoping to hear what some may have experieced on returns.

Re: Question on return shipping.

I have had the experience of shipping multiples to the Q, but not to HSN. You must ask them. It is important w/return shipping to ALWAYS insure and always send paper work.

Why not call HSN CS and explain your situation.  They can credit you with the S&H on the pillow cases as you couldn't use them without the pillows.

Re: Question on return shipping.

I send multiple things back to QVC in one box (paying my own postage).  I also send things back to QVC in one box from multiple orders quite frequently.  Usually cheaper.  I put a note on the top before I tape the box stating "there are XX items here from XX orders" just so there is no confusion.  I also tape the return form to each item.  Never had a problem.  I would imagine HSN is the same - they cannot penalize you for choosing to NOT use their "convenience" return label.  I would think pillows roll up and would be pretty light to return.   I have read on these boards where some people return multiple items to QVC in the same box using one return label.  I asked CS about that once and they said it had to do with total weight or something.  But, I am sure the HSN customer service people can answer your questions.

That would be nice!  I will call Monday. Meantime I am going to look for a box for everything. It was stupid of me to order the pillow cases before knowing the pillows would work. But they were on sale half off at the time so I thought I was doing good.

Oh good idea putting a note on top letting them know. I was going to tape each invoice to pillow or cases. I think I read on here once a while ago that someone had sent several things back & not sure if it was the Q or HSN but I'm pretty sure she said they charged her for each one. At the time I didn't think about it but when this happened I thought abt it.  I just usually think & think abt things & try to be absolutly sure I am going to use it before I order. So not as familar with returns. Long time ago I had a few more. They have all changed their polices since then! Thanks
