Question for those from NC....WHERE TO STAY IN ASHEVILLE NC ??

Hi ladies. DH and I are thinking of taking a road trip for a few days around Thanksgiving and I'm interested in Asheville, NC. We've been there once--a long time ago- as we were visiting friends in Johnson City, Tennesse.

I definitely want to go back to the Biltmore. For anyone familiar with this area, what else is around there to do, and how many days would be an appropriate amount of time to stay? Also, could you share some good hotel recommendations other than the Biltmore--mid priced? Thanks so much , in advance, for anyone familiar with the area.
