I would like to understand the criteria for removing posts that relate to another retail source.
I notice that you often remove posts that relate to something being offered by a B&M store or something containing a coupon code. Why then do you not remove posts that refer to other shopping channels. Aren't they also in competition with QVC - in fact more so than a B&M store.
Could you please explain why one is a competitor and the other is not?

while i enjoy getting coupon codes (and there are lots of places to get them on the internet), i understand in a way why they delete those.
i am glad that they allow us to talk about other retailers. i think as long as it doesnt have a direct link or a coupon code they allow the posts and threads to remain.

Albany recently stated that Qvc has 117 million viewers so what's the big deal if someone posts a coupon code for another retailer. I think the removal is just petty nonsense.

I'm pretty sure if you went to any internet and posted a sale from Q it wouldn't go over well.

Just like you can't stand in the middle of Penny's, and shout, "Hey! Great deal at Macy'!" you can't post codes for another retailer here.
Are people going to pout and sulk about not being able to stand in the middle of Penny's and shout about Macy's sales?
It's the same dang difference.

It is listed in the community standards. It is not the moderators rule. It is a rule of QVC.

We are allowed to tell people that we see a good deal on another retailer site just don't post codes or links for that site. If I remember correctly the rules state that. I've posted about finding stuff at other retailers and people can go check it out without having a link. They've never poofed those post......so far. :-)
