Question for iPod and iPad owners

Do you have problems with the earbud pin sliding out of your iPod or iPad? I am having problems with the iPod, iPod Touch. Apple costumer service said they would replace it. I am not so sure. It is new and there shouldn't be any problems for $400. I'm thinking of asking for one of the small iPods and getting the rest of my money back. The guaranty is only three days old. The iPad should be shipped in 2-3 weeks. I lost interest after all the waiting.
