Question for dog owners.....

What do you do to keep your house from smelling like dog?

We have an American Bulldog and in the past our house has never smelled like we owned a dog. But in the last weeks when I come home and open the door its all I smell. Its disgusting. I notice it the strongest in the rooms where he sleeps, particulary our couch. He is regularly groomed (every 6 weeks), no changes to his diet, and he just got a clean bill of health in February when he went for his well check.
