My DH and I are retired (early 60s) and looking to move from our state. We've been exploring where to move like exploring Florida. He wants me to go to Henderson, NV to see it. My older sister asked me if we had made a decision(s) about moving. I told her that my husband wants to get a trailer and either roam the country or live in one trying out different areas that may appeal to us before making a committed move. Talk about downsizing! She said this is a typical thing that men (not all men of course) want to do after retirement. This would solve his desire for constant traveling and saving money. I'm not sold on this radical change let alone living in a trailer perhaps for the rest of our days. Anyone doing this, thought about this, or dealt with this, or entertained this situation after retirement? We have 3 sons, 2 of whom are still living at home which is a serious problem in itself.
