Are you receiving a series of checks from a class action lawsuit regarding Maricopa property taxes?

I'm in Arizona too. Haven't heard anything about it....tell me more if you can.

We had a winter home in Surprise for 10 years, @Meowingkitty.  I received three checks about six months ago and then received three more checks today.  The letter indicates I might receive more.  

Qasimyar vs Maricopa County.  Tax years 2015-2021.

I don't remember signing anything to be included in this.

I am @Desertdi    NOT  @DesertD      I live in the City of Phoenix, AZ (Maricopa County)...     and have NEVER received a property tax refund.

Actually, I am surprised that the Q has two community members with such a closely spelled nic....

So maybe these refund checks were specific to the community we were in🤷‍♀️

I am about 40 miles SE of Sun City Grand...about 4 miles from Scottsdale.

Sun City Grand changed their name about two years ago. Now it's called The Grand.
My friends who live there think the name change is ridiculous.

I vaguely remember talk about changing the name, @deeva, before we sold.  Maybe to distinguish it more from the original Sun City?
