Question for Cat Experts

My sister's cat has started acting strange the last couple of weeks. She is 15 years old spayed female. Has been meowing constantly, and drinking lots of water. My sister took her to the vet and he done blood work. No Diabetes and her kidneys are functioning well for her age. He didn't find any abnormality to cause her to act this way. He also gave her some anti-inflammatory meds to put in her food in case she was in pain. She is still acting the same way and getting on the bed with my sister in the night and waking her up. Has anyone ever had a cat act this way? Any suggestions?
