Question about singing and lip syncing....just curious.

This is a sincere question....not a jab at Beyonce or any other singer.....

I'm wondering if a singer can truly sing....and they are lip syncing to their own voice....why don't they just sing along?

I can't carry a tune in a bucket, but love singing along to songs (when I'm alone)...so I'm not sure why good singers just don't do the same....If the music is already recorded, couldn't they just belt it out along with that?

I mean if you have a voice, what's the problem?

Any singers out there that might know...
