Question about Taking a Master Class online

Does this open me up to problems??

I'd love to take a master class on building my bone density but I don't want a million emails/calls from scammers. I have to share my email and phone # to register.

If you've taken an online class in this way, I'd like to hear your opinion or experiences.

I could be way off base on this one, but it seems to me that a "Master Class" in bone density sounds kind of like a scam in the first place. They probably have something to sell. Wouldn't it be better to start with your GP, who will recommend a specialist to you?

I've heard of Master Classes on gardening and landscaping, but I've never heard of anything regarding my health - unless it would be recommended by my doctor. I apologize if I'm just out of the loop on this idea.

I don't think you need a Master Class on bone density. More than you'll ever need to know on line.

Re: Question about Taking a Master Class online

@Kalli  I don't know what a "master class" is.  As for putting a phone # on anything, I always use a "phony" one, no pun intended.  Do not want anyone callling me.  As for emails, they would go in spam, so no problem.

Re: Question about Taking a Master Class online

@Kalli   It's Masterclass not Master Class

There are hundreds of FREE Masterclass cources online & off.  You need to do some serious research on your part.

If you have medicare insurance that offfers FREE gym membership then jump on it.  You can get involved in bone density excercises as well as study cources in a group or w/a personal trainer.

PA Mom-mom is correct.  Those so called pay for online cources tells you the EXACT things the FREE online cources do.  I would be weary of any site that offers cources for $$$$ unless it's a legit university/college and/or any type of legit schooling.

I gather you did not research YouTube either.

Hmmm, I wonder who is getting the calls you are avoiding by entering what to you is a "phony" number but likely belongs to someone.

Re: Question about Taking a Master Class online

Thank you for all your responses, truly, thank you!

I think you all gave me a dose of logic and common sense!

Guess I needed it. 😊

I was just hoping for some new info since I've been going to the dr for low bone density for years, tried different meds, pills, shots, ugh. I take several supplements, lots of calcium but still wound up on Prolia which holds onto old bone which is not the same as actually growing new bone.

Maybe it is time to go to a personal trainer. I do try to walk 30 minutes a day and I work with small weights but I've never been able to go on to heavier ones. Definitely time to do something different! 👍👍👍
