Re: Question about Monistat.

Irish, I'm glad you went to the hospital and are feeling better. What a scary (and painful!!!) situation! I had to DIE laughing at your husbands reason for visit. Girl, our husbands have several similarities -- and this is one! I can see my husband putting "she's screaming in pain because of her privates" or something ridiculous like that. Smiley Wink Feel better.

Re: Question about Monistat.

It may be too late for this but I am on some heavy duty antibiotics right now. I had an allergic reaction to some ant bites. I really do not take mess at all, and very rarely take antibiotics but anyway, the pharmacist said that the antibiotics often have a side effect of a yeast infection and told me to eat yogurt every day while I was taking the pills and I would not get the infection. I hVe never had one so I have taken her advice and so far so good. Hope you feel better soon . . .

Re: Question about Monistat.

I have not read all of the replies.so I am going to guess that you are using this as prescribed and not on your face like the ladies on beauty do?

That said, I have not had a reaction to Monistat but I have V/agisil..instant allergic reaction..wasn't fun or pretty...blisters..owies..OMG! The MD at first didn't believe it was from the medication..he thought it was VD LOL..

He gave me some type of cream and it still took a couple days to even feel slightly sitable lol..

I definitely feel your pain.
