I just read that the Queen as head of the Church of England may not be able to attend the wedding. The Church of England believes that marriage is for life and because of that my not be able to attend Prince Harry and Meghan's wedding. We shall see.

Did she go to Charles and Camilla's wedding ?

I bet that will be one archaic rule that will be broken.

I just read the opposite, she will be there

no she did not go to the Camilla/Charles ceremony. it was civil because C of England wouldn't marry them due to their history, including "friendship' while married to others. the Queen did attend a ceremony of dedication later that day which was not a wedding ceremony. but i am reading that Archbishop of Canterbury offered to marry H and M - so this may end up being different. also Charles is 1st in line for throne, future head of C of England, so rules may apply to him that wouldn't apply to Harry.

That's ironic as the Church of England was formed by Henry VIII who was trying to divorce his first wife and marry Anne Boleyn. And then married 4 more after that. Only one of those actually died from natural causes (Jane). And he divorced #4. The last one outlived him

Did she go to Charles and Camilla's wedding? That's just rumor and I doubt that she would refuse to go to Harry's wedding if she went to Charles'.

Well, The Queen went to the second wedding of her daughter Princess Anne, so I don't believe the rumors.
