When I was already signed into the QVC forums, I tried to comment, but got a pop up message asking for my mother's year of birth.  When I entered it, another message appeared that said it was incorrect.

Then the comment section came up normally.

Now I received an e-mail from QVC stating that my account has been reactivated...what???

Anyone else experience this?

Re: QVC website acting weird

I occasionally have difficulty signing in, but have never had anything like you described.

How odd......🙃🙃🙃

Re: QVC website acting weird

Got the same thing last week. Kept telling me the info on my mom was incorrect and then sent 4 emails telling me the welcome back stuff!

This sounds like a phishing scam to me...

When you look at the actual email address from the sender, is it from the real QVC dot com sender address?

@MM13   It looks to be 100% authentic to me.

The e-mail even has my correct name in the header. Phishing for what?

My is acting wierd also but in a totally different way.  I'm unable to view anything that normally would be at the top, My Account, Order Status etc.  It just isn't there.  Hopefully it's QVCs problem and it will be corrected by morning.  If not, I don't know how to fix it.

It sounds like their site has been hacked in a MAJOR way and would explain all the backordered/in stock/out of stock.

I believe this poster nailed it.  It sounds like phishing.  They seem to be trying to get people to tell sensitive information.  Don't answer any of these.

phishing for YOUR info so that they can hack your account.  Luckily, my husband works in IT.  Any time I see something odd, I get him on it.  I always thought QVC's IT was not up to par but they need to be aware if anyone's trying to hack.

BE careful...

Re: QVC website acting weird

When I initially set up my QVC acct. 26+ years ago, I was never asked for the year of my mother's birth?

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
