Another desperate sales attempt by the Q. And what professional experience does Melissa Rivers have with home or clothing styling?

@ellaphant I also wonder just how much this event is going to cost?  After readiing here that the company seems to be bleeding out funds, why do something like this?  I can see such an event during good times.

Most of the time, there are sponsors and vendors paying for these events or at least a large part of them.  That includes manufacturers that we would never know.

I'm also not in the "bleeding out funds " belief camp.  Large corporations plan things out well in advance and funds allocated by annual budget.

Whatever eventually happens to QVC as a publicly traded company, it won't be decided by their marketing strategy.  It's not like a very visible company can just start saving money here and there by canceling things.  It's going to be all or nothing.  I went through it twice in companies I worked for.

@Kachina624 Call me confused with the whole Kathy Hilton thing.  Not one who I would think of representing the Q.  I would say that the Q's demographics are older middle class women.

@haddon9.  I get you.  Color me confused too.  I keep asking myself, "why, why"?
