I couldn't sleep so  went over to the main page.  I came across,  "Kathy Hilton (our own Mrs. Claus!) is welcoming QVC® & TikTok Shop Super Brand Day to her dazzling Holiday House.". So I clicked the link to "learn more & shop".

It seems that the Q is having an event open to the public next Wednesday & Thursday in a new venue called "Iron 23" in NYC.  It's free to attend and no ticket required.

Iron23 is a 17,000-square-foot event venue located in the Flatiron District of New York City, offering newly renovated, street-level, open space suitable for various gatherings and functions.

Anyway they are having different events throughout both days where they will have demos on Wednesday like: "Holiday Styling trends with Stacy London & Melissa Rivers, "Accessorizing for the Holidays" with Jennifer Miller, "Festive Mocktail Demo" with Jill Bauer.

Thursday it's "Holiday Styling tips" with Lawrence Zarian, "Holiday Tablescape How-To" with Tara Tessher, "Decorating with Style" Kim Gravel & "Beauty Gift Picks & Tips" with Mally.

It sounds interesting but I'm not sure if I want to go into NYC.  It's about an hour and a half away by train and it might be fun ....or not.

Anyone else read about this and is thinking of going?  Anyone been to an event at Iron23?

I'm in NYC this month and the location is easy for me to get to.  Haven't heard of this event and have no interest in going.

@ellaphant I also wonder just how much this event is going to cost?  After readiing here that the company seems to be bleeding out funds, why do something like this?  I can see such an event during good times.

This is an in-person opportunity for QVC to promote their products and business, nothing wrong with that.

QVC seems to be totally besotted by anybody with a recognizable name, regardless of their skills or lack thereof.

Kathy Hilton is the complete opposite of my idea of the qualities a person should have to co-host a QVC presentation.  Two minutes were all I could take.

@Kachina624 Call me confused with the whole Kathy Hilton thing.  Not one who I would think of representing the Q.  I would say that the Q's demographics are older middle class women.
