Glad it's NBC.  Love Kathie Lee and Hoda Live and other NBC programs.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

No reason to doubt that-  but there's also little reason that it's true.

I'd far trather believe optimistically than go with the constant negativity of these boards.

I can understand not loving GILI all the time -  I'm not a fashionista, but Jill is a highly successful person.  She happens to be a woman and like many successful women in our country seems to be held to some high level of performance than most men are  How sad for young women in our country.

I hope the NBC venture finds a new female entrepreneur --even though that's doesn't sound like it's their goal.  BTW-  tomorrow's show is about home and kitchen, not fashion.  For me, there might be something I'd actually buy if it winds the contest.

Does anyone plan to vote?

I see this thread is 'featured' and have noted most of her posts tend to sing the praises of QVC, I continue to wonder, is Millie a QVC 'plant' or employee? And no, I'm not trying to be snarky here, it's a legitimate question.

Hi @stevieb

I've seen this question posed before about different customers that participate in the forums. There are no QVC employees participating in the forums who are not clearly marked as an employee. There are also no QVC appointed "plants" in the forums. There are legitimate customers in the forums who share their happiness with QVC. On occasion we will feature a customer's post because we don't want anyone to miss the topic that was raised. In this particular example we thought many might like to know about the topic @millieshops had posted since we see many hoping for new items.

I hope my sincere response to your question is helpful.

I recorded the show and fast forward to see the QVC items.    All three items are from new people showing their items.

My vote was :   The shawl,  that turns into a top, and scarf.   It makes three designs.

The other item was a short slip over shorts.   To wear under dresses or skirts that can be seen through.

The  other item was a necklace that has the shadow of city buildings in major cities.

Today they showed the items around 1 1/2 hours into the 4 hour show.

Record to fast forward because that show is FOUR HOURS LONG.

Basically, its their "QVC Sprouts" program that they have been doing for a couple of years.  They are just partnering with The Today Show for added visibility, and to drive traffic to the site.  They did this before, about a year ago, but I don't remember if it was NBC that they partnered with last time.

I saw that segment today.  I think they are going to show a total of 9 products competing for the prize. I think the next 3 will be household  items.

the short slip with panties was made out of regular material and not a shaper.  The presenter said you wouldn't get tired of wearing it since it wasn't tight and constricting.

the city skyline necklaces looked nice but I think it would be a gift shop item in the city it portrayed

the shawl cowl poncho whatever is something I'd never be bothered with. It had buttons all across the middle of the garment I guess to make it shorter or into a scarf.

I would call all three of the items shark tank losers

this is essentially what the sprouts program was doing on qvc. i guess this is an extension of it to bring these items to a wider audience. right now there are 72 sprouts items available.
