QVC host vs. Soap opera star?

I know this is a dumb thread, but I'm posting anyway. Last night I was watching lisa's red carpet show and thinking that she is so beautiful, and would really do well in soap operas. She is very watchable and animated, and soaps seem like a great place for her... But hen I thought, maybe that would not actually be a "step up" in her career, but a step down instead!? I really don't know the hierarchy of television careers... What do you think? Would moving onto DOOL be a step DOWN for Lisa, or a valid career move? She seems to love Hollywood and really seems to fit in there (imo).
