Hello, lmh45 and welcome. Smile

OMG, the vacuum cleaners....mainly the Dyson. Almost every single week it's the same old vacuum cleaner. I mean, what more can they show you that that thing does? It's just a vacuum cleaner.....it's it's expensive!

Yes, yes, I know. QVC needs to show these things all day for people who may have missed it. But seriously.....5 HOURS of the SAME product? And if it's not a Dyson vacuum cleaner, it's usually a mattress, a blender, a laptop..........and that's pretty much it. I can now pretty much predict what will be on QVC on the weekend. I know I could change the channel, but it's still a bit boring to know that those will be the only things being shown on the weekend.

I'm not blaming the hosts, by the way. They probably get bored, too.

In reading some of your posts since you signed on, gather you are very dissatisfied with the Q...... Why do you even bother if that is how you feel?

Yes, they have changed, but do still offer some very nice things. They can't please all of the folks all of the time.

If you are so dissatisfied with her posts, why do you bother reading them

So complaints aren't allowed here? Now that is funny.{#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Yes Pash they are allowed here...... But did you go to read OP's 7 posts since she signed on board????......nothing but complaints about the Q. That is why I asked her the question I did. And, I am entitled to ask questions too.......

No, I don't have the time nor the desire to research an individual poster's history.

Complaints can get you in trouble.

The thing that I get tired with, is the too frequent repeat of the same items: Dyson, mattresses, Susan Graver, outdated ipads, computers, just to name a few. They're too frequent, and on in too long presentations. Unless that Dyson is going to dance around the room by itself, nobody needs an hour presentation of a vacuum!

One of the biggest disappointments was purchasing the bonded gold that was manufactured in Italy and Antonella stating that it was one of her relatives who lives in Italy and directly involved in the making of these pieces; a family business but not only that, the woman sitting next to her was a relative. So, I bought a couple pieces and the gold color wore off. I had purchased a ring and a pair of hoop earrings that I just loved because they were pretty big and would have cost more than I was willing to pay had they been real gold. These pieces are no longer sold on Qvc and I was unable to return them as it was past the 30 days but I believe the line is still sold there. It's called Vinceza.

I believe you're referring to a vendor name Leticia or something like that. I think she's and her line have been around a lot longer than Antonella, hasn't she?

It's a very popular line....although I have never purchased any of it, it seems to be popular here.

With the high price of gasoline per gallon in some areas, and the time and personal energy involved, sometimes it's easier to just 'shop around' online and/or on TV. QVC does offer a huge array of colors in many items, which might benefit many shoppers looking for a 'certain' color, etc.

I agree....I hate going into a brick and mortar store. IF you can find salesperson you're lucky....and once you do, they are usually not knowledgeable in products, sizing, etc.

I love when I ask a question to a sales clerk and the answer I get is "I don't know"....not "I don't know let me look for you....ask someone if they know....etc". Just an "I don't know (and I don't care)". {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

I don't have the patience for that anymore.

I live in an area that I have to battle traffic to just get to a mall....and forget finding a parking spot that is not in "the lower 40"....and with my bad knee I have to conserve every ounce of my pain level for shopping. Wink Then IF I can find what I want/need.....the check out lines are long.

So.....shopping online...be it here or any other online store is easier for me.

However, I do agree with the OP......it's gets a little boring here with the same 'ole/same 'ole....so I'm glad I have other online options to choose from.

Antonella specifically stated she is related. I have no idea who came first. What I do know is I'll never trust Antonella ever again whatever she's selling.

I have no objection to change. However, the changes at QVC have been for the worse. Infomercial hours and substandard quality seem to be the norm these days. I just received a pair of workout pants. They are so thin, so flimsy that I didn't think it possible to manufacture a garment so shoddy. The few times I do a Q check, I see cheap quality, boring stuff. Years ago I used to watch QVC all the time. Now I watch for seconds a day. I don't know if they're doing well, making oodles of money, but as a former Q addict, I am VERY disappointed in what has happened to QVC.
