Up until very recently we DID have a choice in shipping carrier.  If I wanted something in pristine condition and a fast flawless delivery to my front door I always chose UPS.  It might have been a teeny bit more $$ than USPS but was so much faster and better.

I someties chose USPS for small packages that fit easily into my mailbox and if there was no rush or I wouldn't be home to take the package in from the front step.  It was TERRIFIC to have a CHOICE!

Now many times things are sent UPS at first and then take another 2-3 days to get switched to USPS and delivered.  I hate the waiting and watching my order in its snail-like progress.

If an order is In Process at QVC for more than 5 days I cancel it.

Honestly I think the post would have been more interesting if it had been about sipping and wine choices.  I'll try to do better next time. But I suspect they would try to cram the bottles into the mailbox anyway.

I live in a highrise apartment building and we have a weekly social called Sipps   I thought the OP was telling us that QVC is offering something like it.

A lot of artistic types (like his poetic talent) like to sip on a little Cognac for inspiration, LOL!

LOL! My mail carrier sure would try to cram those bottles in too!

Heaven forbid that they actually had to get out of the truck to bring something to the door!

@Perkup @Plaid Pants2 and @KingstonsMom, I've seen those poor ladies at our UPS store working their tails off, I know in the back they have to have a shipping, I mean sipping table set up..  will that be ground, air, or what?
