Around here Russian Orthodox church members have not celebrated Christmas yet. I think that's true with Greek Orthodox too.

Agreed Traveler, in my religion Christmas season does not officially end until January 12th. Happy New Year to you!.

Agree.

I can remember always hearing their message that they are giving all employees time off to be with their families and thinking well the people who tore down all of those decorations were not off.

I'm just glad I have never watched enough - or paid that much attention - to notice when they take the holiday decorations down. lol...
I've watched a few videos recently but I don't think I've watched anything live.

It's still the Christmas season, and I'm glad and happy to see the decorations. I take my tree and decorations down right after little Christmas, Jan. 6th. That's been the tradition in my family 🎄

Maybe they want us to see the decorations and hope to keep us in the holiday spirit to spend more money during their clearance events.![]()

LOL Sillee I'm sure they are looking to cash in any Christmas cash that people might have received. Have a Happy New Year!

There were so many complaints the last couple of years on this board that I think they reconsidered dumping the holiday decor on the 26th.
It really is a season, and I don't care what individuals choose to do in their own homes, but a place like QVC, who makes a ton of money on holiday based sales, was really doing themselves a disservice to take them down so soon.
They are still selling Christmas clearance and winter items, so I think it would just be good business to remove the decor slowly and have it gone by Jan 1st or shortly after that.

I totally agree with what you are saying here. I always felt like they couldn't wash away the holidays fast enough so that they could start selling us garden supplies.
Happy New Year OhioMom!
