Put them in pots that you can keep in the house until it is time to plant. Or just ship them back. Tell them you want your shipping reimbursed.

oh please; it's not the end of the world. ask QVC for your money back and I'm sure they'll reimburse you. Let this be a lesson to you: buy from LOCAL nurseries/garden centers.

Yes we did that so I am waiting.... We made National NEWS yesterday..

They showed ice floating on the lakes in Northern Michigan

The weather man said that we can start putting in some plants because

it is in the 70's and the nights are not going below 50... but the ground

is still frozen in many parts...

Kzeks are you in the UP? I'm from SE Michigan. I think they go by the average zone map and we can plant around this time. I don't think the plant vendors factor the actual weather each year. I like winter in Michigan and even I got sick of it.
