QVC doing two day shipping?

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

I have a p.o. box and I often get items in 2 days. The packages don't have to be routed to a carrier for home delivery so I get them much faster.

As far as a QPrime membership, I don't know if I would be interested personally, although I think it's a good idea. Most of the items I order are not urgent needs, they're just items that catch my eye, so oftentimes I don't mind waiting for them. For others, though, it would work very well.

It takes three days for QVC to move from In Process to Shipped. I'm in California, so they can't just throw something to me from a warehouse on the east coast and it land on my porch.

I am envious if you get QVC packages two days after ordering. Mine arrive in around 5-7 days.

I don't get every package in 2 days, but the majority of them I do. I also get the occasional 'In Process' which can last a few days. Like I said earlier, though, I'm lucky that most of my purchases are wants and not needs, so I'm never in a hurry.

I'm a high volume QVC shopper, so a program similar to Amazon Prime would be nice.

"This made me wonder if QVC is perhaps contemplating offering a QVC Prime membership."

Only if they figure out how it can make them more money!

Seriously, they need to take some pointers from HSN. I've only ordered one item from them in well over 8 months, but I placed an order for the TSV at 1:00 a.m. this past Sunday morning, then placed another one at 1:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon. They gave me half-price shipping on the entire second order (Couldn't decide on sizes-so I placed two orders.) Oh, and 4 Flex-pays...

I verified their return policy: they will refund the original shipping if I send them back, the return shipping label will be deducted from my refund, but then that return label amount will be put in my account as Spendable Kash $$ to be used on a future purchase.

They shipped yesterday, and they're out for delivery to me TODAY, AS I'M TYPING! {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

But Amazon gives you more than just free shipping. You get free Kindle books once a month and prime videos that are free all the time. Movies and series. What would the Q give us???

I guess it would be nice for them to offer it.

I honestly don't even think they would have to offer anything else. They will reel in millions of fish just with the 'free' shipping. Television shopping is kind of an oddly separate entity from any other kind of shopping because they have people on air 24/7 convincing people that they are their friends and blah blah blah, everything they are selling is something that they absolutely MUST have, etc. The people who buy into this stuff are in the millions and it will be lucrative.

I'm not in, as I seldom buy from QVC anymore, due to the fact that they dropped so far down on quality and, as to one of my favorite categories, stopped selling fine jewelry pretty much 99.9% of the time, in lieu of all the costume junk they sell.

I do buy something every now and then, but nowhere near enough to make a Prime membership lucrative. Amazon does it right and I don't think that QVC (or any shopping network, for that matter) would come within a million miles of that. But they will convince some that they are better anyway. ha!
