Re: QVC Pallets For Sale

[ Edited ]

croemerr   I wonder if these pallet buyers sell on eBay, or at flea markets?  I also wonder if QVCguarantees  them a certain value of merch for their purchase.  Like pay 900 and get 1500 value. But one wouldn't  know what they will get, broken, duds etc.

So true...900 bucks and you might receive broken bits and pieces...then do they guarantee you get your money's worth in value...Yikes...good question?

@croemer @shoekitty  As I mentioned above, on occasion, I will watch Jodi Lytle's video of her opening all sorts of merchandise she buys in pallets, including QVC.

In my opinion, there is no other way to recover the costs selling the merchandise.  We are talking used candles, used vacuum cleaners, refurbished laptops, etc.

She also opens quite a few Amazon pallets and most of that is junk also.

She recently said she has 100,000 followers online.  Maybe she can make up the cost with all the "clicks" she is receiving from viewers?

Search Jodi Lytle/QVC and you can see her ummmm "treasures."

@Mersha   wow, I didn't know that!   Wonder  why she buys the stuff?  Maybe for entertainment value...  I haven't watched any of these videos, and don't use social media...except coming here. What kind of junk does she get?  lol. I know if they sign up they get paid by Hits. I wonder how much money .....not worth it me.maybe a business expense?  lol! Guess I'm too old for that .  I need to rid my home of years of doo dads I have no use for anymore. But it would be fun watching to see what she gets.  lol.  Viewers can see what they coulda got, and be glad they didn't buy lol.

I just discovered her on FB a couple of months ago. I like to watch her open some of her videos but I don't watch every single one. I thought she said she keeps a few things for herself, family members or gifts but now she mostly just buys them for content to post and donates the majority of those items.

I agree!  I was concerned I spent $38 on an As Is item.

Different worlds. LOL

If I had nearly $1000 to blow through, I'd spend it on something I could guarantee I'd need - like heating oil for the upcoming winter.

Or food, gas...definitely not a potential pile of junk that I'd have to get rid of.

@croemer @shoekitty You don't have to like it.  You sell it on Ebay.  That's why most buy Q pallets.

@haddon9 I would rather just watch than buy, lol. Fun to watch.  I have no use for my of that stuff, trying to get rid of what I have, lol. A poster here says this tic tok poster doesn't sell the stuff she can use.  She donates. Donation she could claim on taxes.  But I imagine mny do buy the pallets for etail shops and discount stores.  Even TJMaxx and those places sell things that are slightly broken, out of box, etc.  I have a storage stall full of heirlooms from mom, MIL, dad, etc. antiques.  I'd love to have someone buy everything in there for a flat fee, and cart away. But even that's a lot of work for me lol. Time to engage the grandkids !!!! They need money sometimes!
